How to connect X100 Pro2, EEPROM Adapter and EEPROM?

1.Connect the chip you desire to the EEPROM chip via the professional cable

2.Plug EEPROM chip into EEPROM Adapter

3.Connect EEPROM Adapter to X100 Pro2 via the main cable

How to do EEPROM function?

When the connection between XTOOL X100 Pro2 key programmer and EEPROM Adapter is correct, the indicator of EEPROM Adapter will be on.

Enter “EEPROM” function, it will show the main three functions:

* Read pin code
* Data initialization
* EEPROM Program

1.Read pin code

Select the corresponding car model-> Chip type

e.g. Chrysler-> Immobilizer ECU (95080)

Then read out the pin code successfully

2.EEPROM Program

Select the related EEPROM chip type

Then you can read EEPROM data, write EEPROM data and EEPROM data recovery depends on your need

e.g.95CXX Series-> 95040-> Read EEPROM data-> Input the file name (Create File or Create Folder)-> Save file

How MUT-III diagnostic software was written for Mitsubishi Motors ECU variant coding

Here will tell you a guide on how to use MUT-III diagnostic software to do ECU variant coding writing for Mitsubishi cars.

Preparations:
MUT-3 MUT-III Mitsubishi Diagnostic Software Free Download
MUT-III ECU Rewrite ROM Data from 2009 to 2021

Procedures:

Procedure of Variant Coding Writing

(1) Save a coding data into the fixed directory (*1) by

-To read the coding data out of the ECU

Mitsubishi Old ECU Data Reading by MUT-III Diagnostic Software

or

-To obtain a variant coding file in advance

*1: the fixed directory

“C:¥MUTSW_SE¥MUT3_SE¥CdgData¥”

(2) Input a chassis No. or a VIN to list up applied coding files and click button.

Note:

If coding file is not found in the folder, left screen may appear. In such case, click “Back”button. Save the correct file in the folder and try again

(3) The applied coding files by the inputted are displayed.

Choose a coding file to be written and click button.

-The background color of the line containing the selected file changes into yellow.

— select a directory

— delete the files

(4) The current ECU coding data and the coding data to be written are displayed. Click “OK”button if OK.

(5) Confirmation dialog box appears.

Click “OK”button

Note:

-In case of ETACS, “ETACS customize” and “Option

Coding” are initialized after writing variant coding.

Rewrite them after finishing coding.

-It is not need that “Option Coding” is executed because the data of “Option coding” includes in variant coding data, if “Copy Coding” was executed.

(6) Completion dialog box is appears.

Click “OK”button

(7) Written coding data is displayed. Check if the coding data was written correctly.

Click “Back”button

JPRO Professional Truck Diagnostic Scan Tool 2021 V2.2 Heavy-Duty Medium-Duty Truck Scanner Noregon JPro DLA+ 2.0 Adapter Kit 2022 V1

Last Year Noregon announced its second major update for JPRO Professional, its in-shop diagnostic and troubleshooting tool. The release, JPRO Professional 2021 v2, is available for purchase and active JPRO subscribers can update at no additional cost.

“Trucks continue to become more complex and therefore more difficult to diagnose and repair. To alleviate the issues this causes, we ensure each JPRO Professional release adds tools and features to make technicians’ jobs easier,” says Jason Hedman, JPRO product manager, Noregon. “For example, this release helps techs quickly identify performance and health-related issues on vehicle systems that affect the cost of ownership or could later sideline an otherwise healthy vehicle.”

After setting the standard with its aftertreatment diagnostic screen, Noregon says JPRO’s latest release offers similar user-friendly features and design to help technicians diagnose issues related to coolant, oil, and fuel systems. These interactive screens present live key data points in easy-to-follow diagrams to help uncover irregularities.

Additionally, Noregon enhanced JPRO’s ability to submit vehicle repair information to third-party databases to create cases and begin warranty submissions. Starting with this release, authorized users can submit information to Trimble’s TMT/TMW service, in addition to existing databases such as Decisiv, Bendix, and others, the company says.

“JPRO should be the first tool a technician reaches for when a truck arrives at the shop. Regardless of the make and model, they can triage, diagnose, and troubleshoot with JPRO in most instances. To expect a technician to stay in a single application throughout the entire process means giving them all the necessary tools to do so. Integrating with major OE databases is an essential part of that process,” says Hedman.

Noregon adds the release also features updated coverage and new bi-directional tests for many major component manufacturers, including emerging advanced driver safety assistance (ADAS) systems.
